multiple bluetooth headsets

I have an ASUS 626 which I use to listen to ebooks. When we travel, my wife and I like to listen to a book. I have a Y plug and two headsets but it is awkward to be tied together by wires. I looked at buying a bluetooth headset but if I plug in the headset cord, the bluetooth stops. Is it possible to have two bluetooth headsets operating at the same time?

I don't think that will work. Here is an idea though you could get a Moto 505 bluetooth speaker it has an FM transmitter in it then get a couple of cheep FM headset receivers that would get you there but you wouldn't be able to use it on a plane. I use mine in my truck to play my music so everyone in the truck can hear
