Oh. Sorry. I didn't catch the part where you didn't have a WP7 phone yet. You really need to get one of those. They are quite nice
I don't think it's going to work out. If I can't get the live services to work everywhere then I can't adopt the microsoft ecosystem fully. Live mail and contacts won't even work in OSX.
Since I do work in windows, OSX, ios and android i'm trying to pick both a phone and a set of services that have the most compatibility across all operating systems. The issue with windows phone is it will only work with a single google calendar so that's somewhat limiting, not a deal killer perhaps. And I don't like last.fm and won't pay for zune service. I really like pandora but it's not available on WP7 and I plan to stream it in my vehicle. I don't like being tied down to any one OS and like to move between them easily if I need to do so.
Pros and cons to all things. But right now I think it makes more sense to stick with android. I have full live services functionality along with full google services functionality on the phone and I have pandora. Not as pretty as WP7 but so far it's more functional. But I still have a couple of weeks to swap the phone out if it makes sense to do so. Right now not having live services in OSX and the lack of pandora is an issue for me.
