Music App update

Hello everybody !

Now we're almost an entire month from the last update of the 8.1 music app (27/10). The experience is still not as smooth as the native app we had with WP7 and WP8.0, even on powerful devices like the Lumia 930...
First they said there will be bi-mensual updates...
Are the updates process over ? Do we have to expect something new from MS with this music app ?
Maybe I am the only one to feel the poor and slow experience with this app ?

You're not alone. I still use the old music hub since the XBM app is still way too slow for me.

They better surprise us with a great update. The app is unusable. Especially if you weekly-sync playlists.

Wow. Didn't know about that thread... IMpressiove comparisons. What's wrong with MS about this app ? I really don't get it

Belfiore was heading the development of core apps on WP, that is until he took over W10. My guess is the Windows team is prioritizing W10 over what would be redundant apps once W10 is launched.

Okay I think this app is totally dead and we will all stay with a broken music player for all the Windows Phones under 8.1
