Music control plays multiple apps in andriod Note 4

Hi I got a band 2 a few days ago and liking it so far. However I've found that the music control will play multiple apps at the same time.

On my Note 4 I currently have 3 music player apps
a audiobook app
google music
and a podcast app

However if I try using the music controls to play whichever app was last being used will play, then pause and the Samsung default music player will kick in. So I managed to get an app to disable the Samsung music player. However now when playing the audio book google music will kick in.

does anyone have a solution to this issue as it makes starting and stopping music impossible with the band

I think it's a Samsung thing. I have issues with my gs4. I found its best to start whichever app on your mobile then startup the music controls on the band.
