Music in OneDrive

I have a quick question: For those of you who store your music in OneDrive, what's the quickest way to sync it? I have a fair amount of music and when I try to copy it all over, it seems like it takes forever. And it seems like songs with strange names (start with a period, for example) won't sync. Also, anytime I add a new album to my PC, I have to remember to back it up. Any advice on this would be great.
