Music stops playing momentarily when opening Cortana

Hello, I'm having an issue on Lumia Cyan/8.1 where whenever any music is playing (regardless of if it's local or through Spotify/Pandora) and I open Cortana, the music will freeze for a few seconds repeatedly until I tombstone the Search app or kill it. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Well isn't it obvious? Cortana pause the music so she can listen to your requests clearer

Cortana should stop it... Otherwise she will not be able to hear your requests clearly..

Well if you are talking about just opening up cortana then the music doesn't stop on my phone m using 1520 .

Well it seems to happen intermittently. Sometimes if I pause and play the music again or do some other stuff in the meantime and go back, it's gone. It always comes back later though.

I started having this problem. Whenever I have music playing and headphones plugged in, then I long press search and do a voice command, sometimes the music doesn't resume afterward
