Muted outgoing calls

My l920 has run into an issue and other person in the call is not able to hear me when I use mic. When I use speaker or earphone, it works fine.

Facing same issue with Skype.

Steps have done
1. Factory reset
2. Cleaned up tiny holes using pin on the bottom and top of the phone.

I'm sensing it's a hardware issue unless folks know any remedy.
