Muting Incoming Ringer or Notification

I've searched far and wide online for software, a tweak, or hack that will mute the ringer and notification when receiving an incoming call or text, however, I've found nothing. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

you can do this by setting the ringer to none for those in sounds and notifications settings if you are trying to make it permanant. go to start>settings>personal?sounds and notifications, and select the notifications tab. there you can set most any notification sound you want...

Yup..scroll wheel will do it. Although I found some apps disables that feature. One in particular is Smartskey 0.60. Had to revert back to Smartskey 0.56.
