My 620 is some times not recognized by my PC

Hi,,

I Am using Lumia 620 for last 1 year and I still have a problem. my device is some times not recognized by PC. It is charging though. Some time it is recognized as a USB device(the phone icon appears) and I can browse the saved files in phone memory as well as in the SD card. But some times the phones icon appears but when i click it appears blank. is there any thing I am missing. This may sound silly and you ppl may be tired of answering such questions, but please respond.

sometimes it shows blank ? does it still shows an icon in taskbar ?
if you have a password on your Lumia 620 , unlock your phone and then connect it with your PC , by this you will be able to browse files and wont face such issues :smile:

im suffering the same problem but I have no password. also for some reason my phone keeps turning off when it isn't plugged into the computer (if I plug it into the mains, it shows the dead battery symbol despite having 100% charge). and it keeps rebooting itself before going dead

it doesnt allow me to hard reset. also now whenever i plug inthe 620. it keeps showing the dead battery logo, despite the battery being charged

and sadly the issues remain. whats annoying is that it doesnt acknowledge the update centre and i cant downgrade it as it doesnt sync with the windows phone app on my pc / the nokia support tool
