My computer is not accessing Windows updates which it says are available for me, how do I fix that?

Ever since I updated Windows 10 nearly a month ago I have mountains of problems. They may be related to the fact that the pc is not able to get the updates which are available. If not, I will need to deinstall Windows 10.
HELP!
