viruse cannot affect the lumia windows phones. You're sure that your contacts are disappearing? Yoi might have deleted some accidentally or someone who had access to your phone

My contacts have been disappearing too. Funny thing is some very old contacts which i thought were lost are reappearing. This issue is getting bigger and is going on. I have a 1020, W10M. Running on 10586.545.
