My DVD/Blue ray stopped working

Out of the blue I popped in a blue ray disk and it makes a funny noise loading it, then nothing happens on the xbox, as if no disk was inserted. Tried a DVD and same thing. Anyone else encounter this.

That stinks man, but at least you still might be eligible to receive a free downloadable game! My brother's XBOX One had the same issue and he ended up getting Zoo Tycoon for free.

Your disc drive is failing. go to www.xbox.com/support and start a repair ticket.

Keep in mind - you'll be offered one of two options to replace/repair your XBOX One

You'll have a $500.00 hold on your credit card and Microsoft will send you a new XBOX One with a box to send your busted XBOX One back in.

OR

They'll wait for you to send your bad XBOX One to the support center and then ship you a new XBOX One once they receive/process the damaged one...
