My L520 was stolen here's a few thoughts.

Two phones lost and...

Hurray my L520's been found!!!
The thief is someone I know. He was trying to sell the phone this morning and was caught by a friend of mine. I now have my 520 back.

Unfortunately, the thief ran away as soon as he got the chance. Also, my SIM card's and phone cover are missing.

Guess I'm a lucky guy.

My windows phone has been stolen again! First time, it was my 925. Now, it's my 520.

You see both 925 and 520 are not available in markets. AND... MSFT promised to release next build of win10 to these devices too. So I think MS payed the thief to get these devices for testing purpose

I'm not living in my home country. A 520's a big deal to the locals.

A few thoughts:
If I lived in an area where risk of theft was high I'd probably do a couple of things to a low cost device.

Write down and keep the IMEI and SIM serial in my shoe.
Superglue the SIM and the battery in place.

...or maybe just be real careful with trust.
