My laptop keeps restarting after the update without starting windows

My laptop started updating and then i saw a message below tells me that my laptop will restart several times, then it kept restarting for almost 2 hours. I tried turning off the laptop and removing the battery, but nothing helped. What should i do? Windows won't open at all, it just a black screen with a brand name over and over again

Hi Welcome to Windows Central. First off you need to have a little patience. I suggest you try the media creation tool for the anniversary update. Did you ever see a message "Please do not shut off your computer"? Well there's a reason for that!

Hi! Here's a MS link that will help you decide which recovery option you should choose. Personally I always chose a restore point to a earlier time. I hope you have that turned on!
