my lumia 535 has a blank start menu screen.

I left my phone to charge during the night and when I woke up I went to see if it is fully charged. When i pressed the start button the lock screen showed but the time and the day weren't correct then I slide to unlock it and it was blank.There was nothing, only the home, back, and search buttons. I thought that it is some app that i forgot to close so I pressed the back button and then the whole screen became red because of the os colour. I tried to reset it but when I powered it on, there was the same problem. The only not black thing is my lock screen with incorrect date and time.

Have you tried pulling out your battery and trying again after you put it back in?
