My Lumia 730 recently has got a lot of spots on the screen that I can barely see anything. What could have happened to it?

my lumia 730 recently has got a lot of spots on the screen that i can barely see anything.

Last night I was working with it and no problem.but then I put it in my pocket,and when I took it out,I found my phone with a very bad screen. I don't know what happened to it.

It could be anything from a minor software glitch to a major hardware glitch. Does the issue still persist?
