My Lumia 920 does not show notifications

Please has anybody been experiencing this. After the update to amber my Lumia suddenly does not give notifications on some application like whatsapp and peregrine. What should I do to solve this as its pissing me off.

check the settings? sometimes apps reset after updates

Thanks. I have checked it and they are both allowed to send notifications

Try uninstalling them and reinstalling first. If that doesn't help, then I would try clearing your browser history in the settings then soft-reset (Vol Down + Power until it completely shuts off). Start back up and see if they return to working shortly after that.
