My new surface go has a bar on the screen where it won't work.

My new surface go which I have had for about 3 days now has a bar across it's width where it won't register touch or a pen. Is there any way I can fix it. The screen looks fine and works fine every where else except that bar.

If it's software related, check for Windows updates in settings and make sure everything is also up to date in the Store.

You can try a factory reset to be sure, but if the above does not fix, it could be a hardware failure you run through Microsoft Support.

You can try Insti's advice but sadly you're probably going to have to send it in for repair.

that's def a hardware issue, go exchange it immediately....
