My Passive Pen draws extra lines

Hello all,

I'm trying to use my disc stylus(2nd generation) with a Passive Pen on my Surface Pro tablet. For example, after drawing a line and releasing the pen, sometimes a thin line is drawn to the point where the tip of the pen is pressed again again.

This does not happen on Windows. xinput in terminal showed that the Tablet is correctly detecting when the tip is pressed. Is there a way to tell xournal (or the system in general, this also happens in other applications) to draw lines only if the tip is pressed?
