My phone is waking up to easily

When my phone is asleep and I put something on the desk near it the screen wakes up. This happens so frequently it seems like I can look at it and the screen lights up. Where is the setting to reduce the sensitivity of this?

I am using a HP X3 Elite. yes on double tap.

Where is the setting to reduce the sensitivity of this?

Settings>Extras>Double Tap

However, adjusting the sensitivity doesn't seem to have any effect. I have prefered to always wake the screen up with a finger print, and double tap is off. The screen stays on dormant for the max 5 minutes.

You're welcome. Does it help or does it make it more difficult to double tap to wake? I remember having to bang the screen with my finger tip to wake it up.
