these threads with an eccentric title are funny. you're phone melted in your pocket yet you were able to get the network+ update today. if anything that speaks to nokia's build quality. lol.

Mine does this a lot since the Portico update. My location/GPS icon will get "stuck" ON randomly and the battery will just tank as the phone heats up to the point it's hard to hold it. I don't have anything running in the background, I don't use Nokia Drive, and I only have the default Weather app using my location. I can let the phone sit and when it happens it will literally drop from somewhere near 90% to the point it turns off in about an hour.

Same exact thing happening with mine - location/GPS icon always on despite never using Nokia drive or anything else. I turned off location services in settings and it has helped a lot - but it's a really annoying problem.

When my phone heats up like that in my pocket, I just blame it on the jealousy it has of being next to something even more massive than the phone.
