My Quick reply to PM not in my inbox

I tried submitting a quick reply to a private message twice but there's still nothing in my Sent Items folder. Maybe I should try the Send Private Message link on his Forum Profile page but I'm afraid he may have already received two identical replies from me. Is the Sent Items folder broken?

Are you saving your sent PMs?

As Laura pointed out above... make sure you have the 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default' option checked.

Oh. When I clicked my avatar I only found Forum Settings. Now I see I have to click Settings > General Settings under the banner ad. I'll keep not saving sent messages and hope I remember this.
