SP3 with a power bank

I've just upgraded from an Asus T100 to an i7 SP3; the T100 charged via micro-USB so I had a 13000 mah Anker power bank with two USB ports to keep my 1520 and T100 alive 'in the field'. The problem is, the SP3's proprietary charger has no USB connection and I can't plug it into the power bank. I can't be the only person who needs a mobile charging solution for SP3; what ideas have you got?

Re: SP3 with a power bank

eh? if I am reading this right, you SHOULD have a usb socket on the adapter for charging whatever usb you want.

No he's talking about being able to charge his SP3 without an actual AC outlet. The SP3 (like it's predecessors) was designed to be charged from an AC outlet.

There are some third party portable batteries that are capable of charging an SP3. There is also a car charger that is powerful enough for the SP3. In both cases, you need the cable that plugs into the charging port on the SP3.
