So over the weekend I got my SP4 i5/4GB/128 and everything was going smooth. However, I started noticing the fan would kick in while sleeping and the device would get very hot. On top of that it had a dead pixel so I went back to the Microsoft Store to see if they would swap it out. I get to the store and they give me a new one and as soon as I get home and start setting it up I notice there's another dead pixel. Great. I drive back to the store and they apologize and swap it out again but this time I check it out in the store for any more dead pixels. There we're none so I went home a happy customer. Wrong. As I'm setting it up I notice the charger is different than before and upon further examination of the box I realize its the core M model (-__-) So I head back to the store (which is about a 30 min drive) for a 3rd time and sat there at the bar while they went through FOUR different SP4 models and each one ended up having a dead pixel or 2. The manager said there was nothing else he could do and that they must have received a bad batch. Ended up getting a refund and leaving. Very disappointed with the quality control of Microsoft and will be sticking with my MBP Retina for the time being. Anyone else have an experience like mine?
