my windows phone 10 camera is restricted to 5MP only, but it is 7MP actually in lumia 730, why?

when i try to capture photos with my lumia 730 at 16:9 aspect ratio, it is limited to 5 megapixel but actually it should be 7 megapixel.why is this happening?

i own a lumia 730 an it has a 6.7mp Carl Zeiss main camera, with only 6.5mp effective. The 5mp size with aspect ratio 16:9 is a hugh resolution image while 4:3 is a standard resolution. The size varies as it its restricted because of the image sensors and digital zoom available.

The original specs list says 6.7MP (effective 6.1MP). The resolution is higher in 4:3 mode than in 16:9 mode
My own Lumia 1020 was advertised as 41MP but it was 38 for 4:3 and 34 for 16:9
