My windows phone 8.1 doesnt have Cortana on it

I got my windows 8.1 update yesterday. Everything looks fine but this is weird that I don't have cortana on it.
The os version: 8.10.12393.890
Firmware revision number: 3051.50009.1424.0008

Does anyone know what could be the reason or can anyone give me a solution for not having cortana on Windows 8.1?

Do you have your region set to United States? And if so... Try going to settings and swiping to the right to "applications" you should see Cortana there and be able to turn it on. Hope this helps

I've tried already those steps and also it has Lumia Cyan software on it. I am not sure if it has Cortana on this version.

I finally got cyan last night on my 925 on 3uk. I changed every setting on the phone from English (UK) to English (US) and I got Cortana.

First follow the steps by order.
1.region->us
2.language->eng(us)
3.speech->eng(us)
If nothing seems okay Do a reset..!

Yes, i did those steps now and they had an update while I downloaded the eng(us) speech but still no Cortana

Don't forget to change your keyboard to US

I've deleted all the keyboard except English(US)

Yea thats the only keyboard I have enabled. I found one thing. The time zone is automatically set to Bogota,Lima, Quito.

I did but as you can see the time zone is set to some other area. i dont know if I need to change it

Mine neither.
Language is on US English
Keyboard has US English/Italian/simplified qwerty chinese
System on US english
Region Taiwan

Cortana has disappeared. I realized just now because i heard others claiming they had similar issues and noticed it is not there. It won't be missed anyways. I just want my keyboard inputs in place.....apparently Microsoft is a bit late on that (not much, just 4 years late).
