Native Email App freezing

I have Lumia 1020 that is running the 8.1 Developer Preview (updated to the latest version). I have been facing this issue for the past 2 days:- I have 2 separate inboxes configured; one Outlook set to update as items arrive, and one Gmail, which is set to sync every hours. Out of the blue, both the inboxes freeze. I tap on the live tile and from there on none of my 'touch' get recognised. The screen totally freezes. Also the inboxes do not even update. It's only when i restart or soft reset my phone, that everything starts to run normally.

Has anyone else also faced this issue? Any solutions that anyone can recommend?

Hi - am on the Nokia lumia icon and experiencing the same issue for the first time since upgrading a couple of weeks ago. Everything else seems to be workign fine including phone and web, but the email boxes are all frozen

I did a soft reset a couple more times and since then the problem seems to have resolved. Let me know if it solved your problem.
