Navigation button lights not glowing

Hey All!

Hope you had a lovely Christmas, those that were celebrating

I got a Lumia 1020 a few days ago, and have noticed the lights of the 3 buttons at the button aren't working. I can't remember having seen them glow. Even last night, the didn't seen to be working in the dark.

I am currently using DP, could that be the reason?

DP shouldn't matter, have you got Battery Saver turned on? Battery Saver >> settings. If it's on, the capacitive buttons won't glow, I usually keep mine on "When battery is less than 20%".

Hey G,

Thanks for the reply. My battery saver is set to the "when battery is less than 20%" option.
It's odd, because even when my phone is fully charged, the lights don't turn on in the dark.

Heya...I was also hhavingthe same pproblem with my Lumia 925...

What I did was...
I flashed my Lumia 925 with Nokia software recovery tool...
And lights started to glow up...

But then that would remove DP right? And I'd have to update everything from the beginning? I can give it a go if I find no other solutions.
