Need a forum to discuss WPCentral itself

Wanted to comment on an almost missing feature of this website, couldn't find a category that seemed appropriate to discuss the website itself. Which is now another complaint. Also while searching around I've decided that after the website update it is very very slow now. My computer is not slow. My internet is not slow. This website is. Also the official WPCentral app is awful in many ways. Makes discussion very difficult.

For example I accidentally made a duplicate comment on the app, could find no way to simply delete one, and had to get out my laptop and turn it on and come to this site just to do something so simple. Then I almost couldn't find a way to delete a comment on the website either, until I found it hidden within the edit options. Very counterintuitive. All in all WPCentral needs a lot of work and I'm discouraged to join discussions as often as I would because of it. Especially on the app. In fact I uninstalled the app and will try a third party solution such as tapatalk.

Click Forums from the title bar so that you are at the forum home level (or click Forum in the breadcrumb link above your post title).

Now, scroll. Keep scrolling. Don't stop scrolling until you get to the last topic group... Site Discussion. Here is where you can post comments about the site itself. The WPC team are very quick to read and reply to comments in this section.

Yes, the site is slow. Tech staff knows about it. Hopefully they will have a way to fix it.

I recommend Tapatalk in addition to the WPCentral app, mainly because I participate in other forums, such as AndroidCentral, iMore and CrackBerry. Also, one can easily view or post pictures using Tapatalk.

As I write this, my task manager is showing that IE is using 514.7 MB RAM and this is the only page I have open. I've posted about it and the fact that AT&T ads seem to be the worst culprits. But then, AT&T's website is the slowest, most convoluted mess on the internet, so no surprise. MN needs to rein them in, but I can understand why they don't ($$$).

Though that is a bit too much RAM consumption since most PCs are equipped with a decent amount of RAM, unless you have a pretty old PC or if your gaming, this shouldn't really be an issue.

Just saying.

Lol you know what I think T-Mobile website has AT&T beat. Their website is so bad I actually count it as a large contributing factor for my recent move to AT&T, whos website is admittedly slow. The free 1520 didn't hurt either. Hopefully their bills are slightly less convoluted than T-Mobiles too, but I've yet to get my first one.

That one is my fault. It is buried at the bottom and I never got past "other devices" because I figured the info got less and less relevant. Sorry.

It's not a problem. 😊

Moving the thread is easy, and now you and other members who see it know where it's at.

A friend of mine said the Verizon website is just as slow. Lucky for him, he only needs to visit it once a month to pay his bill. Same with me and AT&T's website.
