After using my samsung focus 2 for what feels like an eternity. Im ready to upgrade, plus my bluetooth has been broken nearly months after buying it. Sending it in to be repaired and have no phone is a no go. I would naturally assume the first windows 8.1 phone to drop would be the best, until i saw the horrid spec of the lumia 630. Im looking for an upgrade not a downgrade. I can't just go and buy a 520 because where I am in the midwest, GSM coverage is pretty terrible. So Im looking at CDMA.

What should I do? wait till 2015 for what ever full line of windows 8.1 phones to be revealed? Buy an older phone then buy a newer 8.1 when its available?

Since all the current WP8 are getting WP 8.1 anyway why not get a 620/720?

I can certainly look into it. not familiar with the 720.
720 is good handset if u can live with 512 mb ram.
A good display, an excellent camera and great battery life.
Build quality is quite good too but its a unibody so battery is non removable.

For VZW Lumia 822 928 and Icon are all good. HTC 8X is also available used. Samsung ATIV S and SE are all good. You can pick up a mint 822 for $105,8X for $130, 928 for $180 and ATIV S for $200. Icon and SE are new and will cost quite a bit more.

Im using Net10 as a carrier. Worst Stinking decision i could have made. The coverage is bleh and doing an internet search anywhere that's not on my Home wifi is time consuming. Not to mention the hell i had to go through to get a sim-card for it...then find out the size is not as advertised and had to cut it down (manually). Yep im looking for a Much more streamlined experience with my 2nd future windowsphone lol.

I have indeed looked at verizons selections, then i saw the average bill at $90+ and thought....nope. Wont lie I am hoping something that's true mid-high range is released soon for 8.1 so i can just get it unlocked and go straight-talk cdma. Though im open to anything atm so long is its not going to cost a fortune. My little phone held in there, but its laden with issues. So I know its only a matter of time.
