Need help with international usage outside US - Lumia 950 on ATT

Hello Everybody,

Need some help with usage of my Lumia 950 (ATT network) the US. I'll be travelling to Korea and want to ensure that my phone will actually work while I'm there. I know that the phone itself will support international calling/texting/etc..., and ATT "support" assures me that it will work. Normally I'd be fine with this, but....

A year ago they told me the same thing regarding my Lumia 920 when I was in France, yet I could not get connected to any networks while I was there.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

was just in korea last week with att lumia 950
just got the international plan from att (i went with the $60 plan)
i tihink its $0.50/min for calling, free texting (sending and receiveing), and some data (like 300 mb)

worked fine.
of course i didnt leave the airport...

Great, thanks for the response. What ATT support wasn't clear about was if the International plan actually triggered anything to make the phone work internationally, or if it was just to get the discounted rates.

it's just the discounted inflated international rates

if you don't flip it on, then you get the inflated rates.

Yeah, even with the plan the cost is still outrageous. But I don't have much of a choice at this time.
