Need to free up space on phone

Hi,

I need to free up space on my Windows 8 phone, but don't know how.

If I go to >settings > phone storage > phone, then I can see how many of the features are using how much data for instance, music and videos 200mb etc. There is one section that says "other", this section is using up A LOT of space. I don't know what "other" means and where to go look for it to free up space.

Any help is appreciated.

"Other" is the biggest mistake of Microsoft in WP8, you can only free up some of it but it will always stay 1/2~ GB nothing to do. Try to delete some useless apps at top when you order them by size, and clear internet explorer history

If you have a Lumia, then you can use Nokia's storage check to remove temp files. There's no real way to remove all of the 'other' storage.
