NEW Case review

I just got the incipio feather shine case. It fits like a glove it covers the back of the phone makes it less slippery to hold. All the cutouts are there for rear camera and side buttons. There is no front protection, but after using the Dot case for the last 4 days I don't need it. The best thing about it is it fits in my charging dock with the case on...perfect!

Sweet, I'm still just hoping that I can get an M8 with a dot view case. They look pretty nifty to me, what didn't you like about it?

It covers the whole phone that's nice but to type you have to swing it to the back...well when you do that you block the back of the phone where the rear camera is...so it is next to impossible to take a picture with that case on. Also this incipio case lets me use the phone with one hand...which the dot case can not let you do.

By having a case like this, what are you trying to protect? Is it just the corners of the phone or the back of the phone? Or is it primarily a style thing?

It seems like the part that everyone would be most concerned about protecting is the front of the phone, which is not protected at all by a case like this.

I am just curious what you and perhaps a few others think about this.

Does it cover the top, obstructing the IR blaster?

Honestly the only way to realm damage these screens is dropping it diagonally. I bought this case to prevent scratches on the back of my phone. I stopped using screen protectors years ago. Also it does not cover up the ir. There is an opening in the top for this.

LuckeeeShot. How do you normally carry your phone? I am looking for both a case and belt holder. The one they had at the Verizon store seemed so big and bulky. The case and belt holder I had for the 8x was perfect, wish I can find one for the M8.

Honestly in my front pocket. Where I work I cant have electronic devices with me so my phone is for home and when I go out. I wear cargo shorts pockets are big.

I am trying to decide between this case and the regular feather case (non shiny). Do you know if they are both the same thickness or one is thinner than the other?

I love this kinda case, adds grip, scuff protection and no bulk. I went with a different make (Bear) off Amazon for $6 and its perfect. It has a slight texture that the incipio doesn't and offers a little more grip.

I have one with a kick stand and the free dot case coming too, choices are always good!

I have the Spigen Slim Armor case, it's beautiful and offers great protection but the IR blaster is covered!

I am glad I took your advice. The Bear Motion case is amazing.
