new firmware for 620 on navifirm now!

today i notice there are series of new firmware(the one with storage clean fw),u guys can check it in navifirm....from 1030.6407.1307.1 till 1030.6407.1308.8 :wink:

my factory fw is 1030.5603.1304.6 from malaysia,before the newest firmware rolling out,i tried china n india fw,and i don't have any issue(after that i going back to factory fw)...i think it is safe to flash any fw,as long u know to right step....yeah,those fw are more than 1 GB.......
if u successing to flash 1030.6470.xxxxx fw,rmb to update the ''extras+update'' apps to enable clean storage apps......u can scan it via the barcode below then click update..

Storage+check clears only temp files, doesnt clear from other. Nokia updates doesnt gets downloaded automatically on firmware 1030.5603.1304 & 1030.6407.1308.

this is my firs time flashing wp device , so you already in latest 1308 firmware right is there any performance change or just storage+check that changed ? , i'm still downloading

well,its better than nothing,before storage apps,my other,once grow to 1gb above.Even when i dont have any apps,''others'' hover around 400mb(300mb after factory reset)...the storage check did help me keeping the other below 300mb while i installed essential apps...i would not say it completely solve the problem,but it does help

I din't notice any performance change or anything else other than storage check(the display+touch apps did updated)...pls share if u found anything else

Stability might increase but no performance improvement as windows builds remains same,nokia may be tweaking only some device drivers not the OS.

i didn't have any multi touch issue on my device(tested up to 10 point without charging)even on old firmware,so i dont know this new fw will solve it or not...

I had the Isue and after Flashing this Firmware i can Use Multi Touch Test with 2-10 Fingers with no Problems so this is Definitly Fixed!

Hey i bot my new l620 a month ago... Updated once. Bt my others grew nw 1.9gb, i hav to do sumthing to clear it. New firmwares hav an option i heard. I downloaded it from navifirm, but i hav no idea how to flash it on my device... Can u help me step by step.. M a new windows phone user... Thanx

i srongly not recommend you guys to flash,u should know that once you flash to other fw,ur warranty will be void....
the following step are just for reference,u should compare n study other method n guide,like http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...after-reset-flash-process-defined-inside.html
you should know what you're doing....
my step are
1.install the Nokia_Care_Suite_5.0_2012.45.4.5
2.extract the whole fw contain under navifirm/fw/ur fw/ to C:\ProgramData\Nokia\Packages\Products\rm-846
3.open product support tool inside nokia suite
4.under file option,select offline
4.click file,then open product n select rm-846(dont connect ur phone yet)
5.click programming then recovery,u should see ur fw after u click the ''update list''
6.select the fw u wish to flash then click start
7.the program will verify ur firmware and ask u to connect to phone
8.now connect ur phone,restart it,and when u feel the vibration,click retry button
9. if u flash the original product code,it will start straight away,if u flash fw other than that,it will ask u to select product code(can ignore it,just yes)
10. once the phone done flashing,it will restart itself...
