Hey all,

we have started rolling out a new firmware update for Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL: 01078.00038.16025.390xx. Key improvements in this release include:

• Stability fixes.
• Improvements for GPS reliability.
• Improvements for call audio quality.

The availability of this update may depend on your phone model, region or network service provider. At the time of writing this post, the update is available mainly for selected open market variants, but the rollouts should continue gradually during the coming days and weeks.

Dual SIM 950 XL in US. No update yet. Remember if your on the Insider Program, you need to select production to check for firmware updates.

I got the update and it runs smoothly as always. Nothing new so far.

950XL dual SIM, I switched Insider to production, there is no update.

yes you are right. if i stay in fast ring, i can't get the update. after switching to production, i can get it. (950xl single sim, hong kong)

I received the firmware update 4am IST. all went smooth. as the change log suggests, no visual changes.

Anybody in Australia received this update ? I'm on insider build .71 .. Leave the insider programs and still didn't get the update...

moved from insider to production as instructed but I give up hehe

I wonder if "improvements to call audio quality" means "we fixed the caller echo when Hey Cortana is on". That would be nice!

U.S.A.

Don't have SIM in it at the moment though, when I do it is T-Mobile. I've been using it on WIFI and using my Note 5 in the meantime.
