new icon store display...

Anyone else notice that this person has dropped out of the conversation? I for one would have taken a picture of that display if I saw it.

I'm not believing a thing posted here without some kind of verification.

I also went to an at&t corp store yesterday and found a great selection of WP's on display. The 830 with Denim was live as well as some others.
I have three WP's on Verizon.
It would be nice to feel as though the carrier was supportive and up to date and enthusiastic about the product that I happen to like. I haven't looked into a similar plan on at&t. Three shared with 4gb. Unlimited talk and text. Maybe I'll check that out. I've been too lazy to pursue the switch. If anybody has made the switch maybe they could give some feedback.

On AT&T, I have 3 lines, unlimited Talk & text w tethering sharing 10GB (doubled to 20GB) for $127 month (before tax & fees) w an 18% discount. Don't think Verizon can touch that (though I haven't checked, lately).

I'm sorry for dropping out off this conversation. Today we got hit with several feet if snow, and on my way out I lost the alternator in my car and it chewed up the serpentine belt. I made it to the part store to get the needed parts and spent about an hour in the store parking lot under my hood. After finishing up, the snow was now very deep and the roads were extremely iced over. From the part store to the vzw store it was only about a mile, but in that short distances there was 5 major accidents. People around here get very crazy during the first snow fall of the year, and I'm still a little shell shocked from the accident I was in just a few years ago. In that accident the wife and I got t-boned by a truck and my wife's van flipped several times. I ended up losing my wife of 25 years that day, and at times I get very nervous behind the wheel. So with the way the roads/weather was I was not going to change it just to pop in and take a picture of the sign/display.
I'm sorry and I too am wanting to know why the icon is being displayed as a new arrival.

Well this thread went downhill to say the least. Hmmm got me thinking now. There's a Verizon store about a mile or so away from where I live.

No need to apologize. Sorry for your loss -- lost a close friend last year and I still can't quite wrap my head around it.

Where is the snow at? Our family is up in the UP so we get reports from them (and snicker at them). Negaunee got like 4 feet in 2-3 days.

Same here... No Icon at my VZ. Told me its discontinued and gone. I wanted to replace my 8x. Do not want an M8. Bummmer. What's the new flagship??? No news?

Sorry. I think at this point we're all just ticked off about this.

It's still a first world problem but we're all paying good money to VZW and expect to be treated accordingly. Take it slow out there.
