New LED hack?

Has anyone tried the new LED hack that's on the Nokia Power User site yet? I'm going to download the files (before they disappear) and try it this weekend. Might be a consolation for the lack of Glance...

I've seen no mention of it outside of XDA until this thread.

I need to update and charge my backup phone before trying anything. The NPU article mentions that it only works with build .448, but I'm not sure if that refers to the build on the pc, or phone, or both.
