Has there been any information put out about when the 630 and 930 will be released in the UK, which carriers etc?

For the 930, I heard pre-orders starting around May 15th for a mid-June release.
I'm assuming it will be the same for the 630.

No news on carriers though.

Seeing loads of announcements for various countries about availability but still nothing for the UK...

It tends to be a bit slower to get actual ads and word out in the UK. Wait til nearer the end of may or mid-June and I'd be surprised if you don't see ads for these handsets!

Just got this feedback from Nokia UK - "Hi Nick, the Lumia 630 will start selling in the UK at the end of the month - it won't be dual sim though". I obviously asked when the dual sim would be available.

Wow, official reply from Nokia UK when I asked them why the dual sim variants will not be released in the UK:

UK providers don't really like dual sim phones for some weird reason.
You think they would as they have the chance to get twice as much money out of the customer.

Well, I got my dual SIM, fresh from a supplier in India, and apart from having to change a few default language and region settings, I may as well have bought in the UK (oh yeah, I cant...). Works like a treat, only been setting it up so far (didn't use a backup, wanted a fresh start) but I am very happy so far.
