New Storage check - is it really a solution?

Hi,
quick question. New Storage check function enable to delete TEMP files, but it is usually only couple of 100 MBs.
Phone shows me still at least 2,2 GB of "others".
What's your experience?
And is it really a solution then?

Mine deleted about 1.7GB from 'others'. At least it was a solution for me. Now my temporary storage size is 600MB (though when I did the clear of temporary, it brought it all the way down to about 300MB at that time).

and how big is your "others" now?

So I had 6+ gigs of other, used the tool and it deleted a bit over 5 gigs. I'd say it worked for me. For all the other "other" I have a feeling it is temporary files associated with apps I still have. I am always installing and deleting apps to try them, that is probably why it was able to clear so much of my other space.

ahh, OK. I used 'storage check' to delete temp files already more times, so i am assuming it's just not much left to be deleted anymore. I have fair share of apps and games on my lumia too, so probably those 2,2 GB will sit there for a while
