New tiles on 7.8

For those of us who aren't crazy about the small tiles, we can just use large square and rectangle tiles. However, it appears the larger dimensions will really limit the view view on the older devices with 7.8. From the video, it appears that we will get three rows of tiles on a screen.
Is this a concern for anyone else?

Can you re-phrase? I don't understand what you're saying.

Because there is no right sidebar, and the tiles are square, your existing tiles are going to grow proportionally by 10-15%, east-west, and north-south. So you will view fewer tiles on an 480 x 800 display.

I am planning on shrinking my non-Live Tile tiles, and probably tiles like email (I have 4-perfect) where all they display is a number. So theoretically I will see more than I do now.

Based on the videos I've seen, I'll have a greater number of tiles showing without scrolling than I have showing now.

I'm saying, for those who want to keep their tiles the original two sizes, and not use the smaller tiles, you're only going to see three rows of tiles on the older devices (7.8). Not a big deal to those who like the small tiles, but some people think its a cluttered look.

And btw I mean this as more of a comment, not a complaint. I'm extremely happy with what I have, and what I'm getting in the way of updates.

I get it now. I like the idea of having a row or two of smaller tiles, so I'm good with it personally.

The trade off makes it acceptable but on larger phones it is going to make the large and medium tiles HUGE. It will be interesting to see how they look on the Titan. Hopefully it will translate to more info rather than just bigger text.

I really like the new start screen. I'm hoping to upgrade still. I was unhappy with my HD7 when I thought it WAS getting Apollo. I like to use my phone and have it last all day.
