New to Outlook - questions

I have never used Outlook before, but I am beginning to see it's strengths. I have questions, though. I set up the mail app to sync with my outlook.com set-up. After some initial snafus, it now seems to be working perfectly, albeit a bit slower than gmail in serving the message to my mail clients on the Surface 2 and Nokia Lumia 920.

My question is about Outlook that comes with the free Office. It is syncing with my primary email address I used as the Microsoft address to set up the Surface and also used to set-up my Outlook.com account, but it is not syncing with the multiple pop email accounts I have outlook.com picking up or the settings I have on outlook.com. The mail apps are.

I'm confused and I can't find how to change it, if it is even possible, which it seems it should be.

The related question I forgot to put in the original message is how to sync the calendar, skydrive, etc. I see on Outlook.com on my PC with what's syncing on my devices. Can it be done?
