New update incoming

I would like to know if we can translate this:

"...enables some newly commercialized devices and tweaks a couple of new APIs"

as this:

"We are introducing 3D touch API's for use with upcoming Windows Phone "Goldfinger" device"

I must know! =)

Updated my 1520 yesterday...the phone was hung just now. and i soft reset it and the Wifi and Bluetooth can't be turn on. Restart again, and things back to normal. Will monitor it for a while. If things not working again, will hard reset it.

Update: Apparently the culprit is the Live Tile of "Angry Bird Epic", removed it and it's all good now.

You know the worst kind of updates? It's the ones that appear to change absolutely nothing...no enhanced functionality, no change in architecture....no update to built-in applications.....nothing....a bit like this one really

Really? Could be some of the best - as when it paves the way for future changes (more modern API functionality).

I don't mind updates that aren't waving a bunch of new things in my face. The keepers of the OS aren't going through the effort of an OTA for nothing. Also, they know more about the OS than I (or they should ) and if they want to push some "fixes and upgrades" I want them.

Consider how many sit around hoping and praying for updates to devices that have been abandoned by their OEM and OS vendors. Updates that will never come...

No, you're not excused. A simple Google search would have solved that mystery.

You know it's against WPC rules to tell someone to Google search -you can (actually true) be kicked off for a week with that reply - really google  it or look in rules if you can find that link.

Could have said a bing search lol

all companies, including Microsoft, should be required to provide detailed patch notes for all updates. nothing like investing 100s of dollars and 10s of hours getting your phone the way you like it, to download a useless update that breaks everything.
