I'm really considering purchasing a Lumia 1020 from Rogers in Canada. I have Windows 8 that I use for my business and I love it. I'm coming from a iPhone 5S. Is there a setting on the windows phone so that I can leave a copy of my email message on the server. I want to be able to delete it on my Lumia and have it on my computer when I come home. This option is available with the iPhone, and I asked at the Rogers Store but they didn't have a clue. Looking for some answers. Cheers

I think, that's how WP works, actually. At least for my live.com account. even if I delete message on my phone, it's still there on my live.com email when I check for it from a PC.
Anyways, there are more tech-wise guys here on the forum. Wait for their responses.

It really depends on how its configured.

I like my phone and eveyrhting else to be in sync in regards to email, and by default it does that.

I think it'll be one way like that if you set up email as the old POP (post office protocol IIRC) instead of IMAP or exchange.
