Newly purchased Surface book with perf. base does not see Airport TimeCapsule's 5ghz wifi network

So, it doesn't see 5ghz network, at all
In my time capsule's settings, I have enabled a separate SSID for 5ghz
I've updated Windows to the latest version, creators update one, and all the updates afterward were also installed.

Any clues?
My mpb13 2015 and other devices (iPhones, iPads, custom windows 10 desktop PC) sees both networks and can connect without any issues

To whom it may concern
It appears that the problem was not in Surface per se
the matter is that my time capsule was bought in the US, and the surface book - from Germany
And 5ghz channels were set to auto mode, and that automation used to choose channels above 50, which are not available for Germany (some legal limitations or something)
Manually setting the channel to 40 or 44 or 48 solved the issue
