next user can not use windows after sign in

[Windows Central Question]

when I sign in to my account everything runs great. but say my wife gets on she can sign in and then the screen goes black with only the mouse pointer visible. when I use ctrl+alt+del to sign back into my account everything locks up and I have to restart my computer. I'm at a loss as to how to fix it or what is wrong can someone help?
