NFL game pass on 8.1 :black screen

Well. Has anybody any issues streaming video from the NFL game pass app. When I select a stream I get a black screen with audio only.

This only happens on 8.1. Works fine on 8.0
A workaround is to lock and unlock the phone to get video working.

On a Lumia 520.

Update:

I emailed Gamepass support and they said Gamepass is not compatible with the 520 ( or most other phones ). Anyway I downgraded back to 8.0.
