No 2nd HDD is detected on custom computer.

I have had my motherboard replaced twice and then replaced it with a completely different motherboard. I know have a ROG STRIX Z370-E Gaming. I have bought a new PSU. I have tested the HDD in a known good Computer at a local tech shop and it was detected. I put it into this computer when I got home, nothing is picked up. I have tried different ports with different SATA cables (All new). Understand that this computer does detected and boot from my SSD. I have used that to test other ports and the PSU. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

Is there a separate power SATA cable to the HDD? Perhaps that one is faulty?

There is Separate Power Sata cables. I have plugged it into my SSD and my computer still boots up.

silly question, but have you checked HDD jumpers?

other than that, try it on another computer or external enclosure
