No 4G on Lumia 1320

Hello Guys,

Recently I have buyed Nokia Lumia 1320. When I go to network setting, it is showing me options os 2G and 3G only. I am not able to see 4G option.

So is it issue with Network provider or device itself.

Its a common fault on lumia devices mine won't enable 4g either you have to find some carrier firmware that actually sells the phone and has 4g on its network but good luck with that I,ve been looking for weeks

Hi, I too had this problem maybe we bought the device from the same seller :eck:

The solution to this is to get the nokia care suite. Ill put the link on where I found the solution but basically the 4g is turned off in the software as virgin don't have 4g. you need the stock uk software.

Make sure current sim is 4G compatible.....In India airtel has replaced sim cards for the customers using Apple 5c/s because airtel uses TD-LTE for 4G.....

Guys, can someone help me with 3G.

I am using 3G on airtel sim in maharashtra and it's showing icon "E" on the top which is 2G, I have selected the highest connect speed to 3G. still not working

This probably means in your area maximum you can get is 2G speed. This happens for me too...it hovers around E, 3G, H and H+ based on my location.

I have the same problem with my three.co.uk sim card, when I use my Lumia 1520 4G can be selected. when I put the sim in my Lumia 1320, 4G is not available to select. I phone three help line and Nokia helpline. Both could not fix it, esp. Nokia had absolutely no clue whatsoever, terrible incompetence.
I am using Lumia Cyan on both phones, only 1320 gives me headaches. WTF!!??

Hi there it came from Hong Kong mibbe THAI or Chinese firmware but not !00% on that I am in UK just updated it the 8.1 and its using uk windows account and networks only getting 2 and 3 G in the mobile and sim tab in settings

I see , look make sure you SIM supports 4G
If it does .. Then i guess the only way is to flash it with 4G supported rom
UK CV will do fine

For those looking for 4G/LTE support on the Lumia 1320 - you have to get the RM-995 variant of the phone - essentially this is the LAT-AM version which supports AT&T LTE in the USA as well as T-Mobile

I have buyed lumia 1320 on april 2014.I too saw only 2g and 3g at that time .
But know i am seeing 4g option also.

rm994 in India got a minor update which gave the 4G option

Just check which RM is urs.... And see the feature on Microsoft website that ur Rm supports.. Specially 4g .. Mine is rm994 it's listed on 4g... Check yours

i also have lumia 1320, i can use all 2g, 3g and 4g functions in this, i did not face this problem in my device. so i guess it is a manufacturing fault.

For mine it does show 4G, but in Airtel.in site, it is saying you are phone is not 4g and not compatible to use 4g sim
