No 4G option on 920?

I saw a post on this a while back but there didn't seem to be a solution. Basically I've ended up in the same boat, unlocked 920 to discover no option for 4G, I put my EE sim card in only options I have are 2g or 3G, Wondering if there is a solution to this?

The 4G bands on the 920 might not be the ones supported by EE. You might want to check the bands supported by your version of 920 RM-XXX and what EE supports for 4G. Wikipedia is your best source.

I think you'll need to flash the phone with the EE specific firmware (I've just found this forum post: http://forums.windowscentral.com/no...up-no-4g-lumia-925-ee-if-bought-sim-free.html)

Are you running amber or black? I ask because 4g for me was enabled after Amber.

Also can you access the field test mode? ##3282 or #3282#.

Also 4g on EE is supported on the 920.. it was exclusive to them at launch.
