No Cortana for HTC 8X even after Update 1

Well let keep it short: I have a HTC 8X (with no apparent reason with a English (UK) setting when setting up phone for the first time, no option for English US). So I have this for a a year now with English (US) and got Update 1 last week. Even tho i have everything set to English US even region to US i still can't get Cortana:



A Microsoft chat person told me in order to get Cortana to work i would need to wait or get a new phone from the US.

Even my 920 had Cortana outside of US even on all US Settings. One thing, I will never buy a HTC anymore

If you're in the UK, you won't be able to use Cortana unless you're on the Developer's Preview, which is still in beta.

That's the thing I don't live in the UK and my account is from the US (currently living in the Caribbean, but like i said even my Lumia 920 had cortana in the caribbean with US settings. So i don't know why my HTC can't get Cortana with the US Settings.
